iPhones, 82 years ago.

I’m up in Reno visiting my grandfather and celebrating his 82 birthday. Everyone is talking about their iPhone, favorite apps, the upcoming OS4, etc. Someone pips up with, “I love that I don’t have to have a stack of books and magazines in the bathroom anymore.  I can just grab my iPhone and go.”

To which my granfather says, “That’s just not gonna be very comfortable. At least which the Montgomery Wards catalogue we had in the bathroom when I was a kid,  it came in handy when you were done reading it. Always got awful skinny before the next one came out.”

For once I can say, with fair certainty, there is NOT an app for that.
